We would be impressed if someone traveled to 50 countries. But if someone travels to every single country in the whole world and become the first documented woman, a 27-year-old American woman and the fastest traveler to visit all the 196 countries on the earth will leave you amazed.
The youngest woman Cassandra De Pecol was on the mission to visit all the countries on the earth. Well, she did it, and soon she is going to break the record of Guinness Book of World record. So here is the story of Cassandra De Pecol.
Cassandra De Pecol is the first female to travel all 196 Sovereign nations identified by UN including Taiwan, Palestine, and Kosovo. Her record time is 18 months and 26 days, and she has named her journey as “Expedition 196.”
Cassandra started her tour on 24th July 2015 and finished it on 2nd February 2017. She has become the fastest person to travel all the nations and broke the record of Yili Liu who traveled in 39 months six days.
In every nation, Pecol has spent 2 to 5 days. The finance of her trip was with sponsorships and her own savings which were a total of about 1.32 crore( $ 198,000). Cassandra is just 27, but she has seen so much in her life that someone will see in their lifetime.
She has already visited 181 countries, and she is hoping to become first women to travel all 196 countries. In next 40 days, Cassandra has to visit only 15 countries. If she does it in 15 days, then she will break the record of the fastest person to travel.
