Border Security Forces (BSF) shot dead four persons, including two Pakistani intruders, and recovered 10 kg of heroin on the Indo-Pak border. Incident happened in the Khemkaran sector of Punjab’s Tarn Taran district. The BSF seized a total of ten kilograms of heroin from the four international smugglers. Along with this quantity of heroin, the troopers also confiscated arms and ammunition from the spot where the encounter took place.
Earlier on Saturday, the BSF troops recovered a hand grenade from Simbal post, located 60 kms from Pathankot in Punjab. The grenade was found without lever pin during patrolling.
