Kissing scenes land Biopic Rabindranath Tagore produced by Priyanka Chopra in trouble!

Priyanka Chopra is not only a fine and renowned actress but also a great producer. She has stepped into production by producing Marathi film “Ventilator” and Punjabi film “Sarvann” and is heading forward with her production house, “Purple Pebble Pictures”.

Now she is looking forward to work with National Award winning director Ujjwal Chatterjee. Bollywood these days in hunting for biopics, but this is a tale about a relational between one of India’s best creator and artist Rabindranath Tagore. The story is about Tagore’s relationship with his English teacher Annapurna, which will depict their liking for each other.

The film has landed in a controversy because the members of Visva Bharati University, with the bold story as it consists two kissing scenes and the topic, is very delicate.

They have asked the director to remove these two intimate scenes. They have said that if the filmmakers don’t agree to their proposal, they won’t hesitate from heading to the court. Ujjwal Chatterjee the director of the movie said that he has agreed on removing intimate scenes from the movie. There are no problems with the decisions that the committee has come up with, which is formed to look into the authenticity of search.

The shooting of Rabindranath Tagore Biopic will commence in November this year and will take place in Shantiniketan, Jorasanko, and Maharashtra.

The movie will release in Marathi, Bengali and English. Now this hidden love story will be in cinemas without the intimate scenes.
