A man was hacked to death and his associate was seriously injured by a group of four armed attacker in front of customers and staff of the Cafe Coffee Day Outlet in Bengaluru. The police said Mahesh had several cases pending against him in various courts.
Among the two victims, one of them identified as Mahesh alias Mota was declared brought dead at a nearby hospital. While the injured identified as Rakshith is undergoing treatment. Rakshith sustained injuries on his hands and abdomen. Initial investigations indicated that the murder was a fallout of personal conflict.

DCP Ajay Hillori identified the deceased as Mahesh and said, “Mahesh was attacked by four people while he was having coffee at the Cafe Coffee Day around 7.30 pm. We are yet to ascertain the exact motive for the murder.”

The attackers were inside for 10 minutes after which they left the café without being stopped. A crowed of passers-by and adjacent shopkeepers were mute spectators to the crime. police said, “Mahesh and Harsha were once close friends and ran a video game parlour. They earned Rs 10 lakh a month but parted ways following financial disagreements.”
