Indian cricket team fast bowler Mohammed Shami was paid over Rs 2.2 crore by the BCCI last month as he missed the Indian Premier League in 2015 due to a knee injury. Mohammed Shami was ruled out of IPL 8 after sustaining injury to his left knee during the ICC World Cup 2015.
The BCCI release the list his official website bcci.tv for regarding payments made above Rs. 25 lakh in June 2016 by the cricket body, Mohammed Shami has been allotted a payment of Rs. 2,23,12,500 for the reason being “Loss of Pay for IPL Season 2015 due to Injury.”
Mohammed Shami had played in the entire World Cup 2015 in Australia and New Zealand and in the preceding Test series in the former country with pain. in the tournament as he picked up 17 wickets in five matches. He is the leading bowlers for the country in the World Cup 2015 and played a crucial role in India reaching the semifinals of the World Cup.

In IPL Mohammed Shami was bought by Delhi Daredevils for Rs 4.25 crore at the Players Auction in 2014.
