Bikers, your wait is over as Bajaj Ddominar 400 is now in retail. Costing at 1.36 lakhs (without ABS) and 1.50 lakhs (with ABS), it is currently available in few cities but will be available in other cities shortly. This bike is one of the greatest motorcycle ever launched by Bajaj Autos. As you all know bike segment is growing extensively in India, Bajaj Autos promises that Dominar 400 will be a torch bearer for big muscular bikes.


At launch, Eric Vas, President, Motorcycle Business, Bajaj Auto quoted saying “We believe that a high-quality product with the latest technology and offering high performance should be accessible, unlike what many think that’s high quality is also expensive. So we’ve priced it at Rs 1.36 lakh to make it available to a wide range of customers.”


Bajaj Dominar 4oo is powered by 373.2cc DTS-i single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine that is tuned to produce 34.5bhp at 8000rpm and 35Nm of torque at 8500rpm. The motor comes along with 6-speed gearbox and also gets a slipper clutch, first time in a Bajaj bike.

The motorcycle accompanies 43 mm adaptive front forks and a customizable mono shock back suspension, while braking execution originates from 320 mm front and 230 mm raise plate brakes. The motorbike additionally gets dual channel ABS.


If we talk about appearance, as always Bajaj did not dishearten its admirer. Dominar comes with a stylish and muscular body along with stripes. They also gave bike a sporty look. Apart from styling you get full LED headlamps on the Dominar 400, a first in the lot, while it additionally accompanies Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) work as standard. It will be available in three colours – Midnight Blue, Twilight Plum and Moon White. At initial stage bike will be sold through 80 showrooms across 22 cities in the country. You can book yours online too, online registration will cost Rs.9000 and deliveries will be provided by nearest dealership.
