At The Oscars They Announced The Wrong Name For “Best Picture”

On Sunday night at Oscar Awards in Hollywood, the presenters of the final award made an epic mistake. For the final awards, Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were the presenters for the best film award. Warren Beatty opened the envelope and was quite shock after seeing the name, so he handed over the envelope to his co-presenter Fare Dunaway to check it. Instead of checking it she announced the name as La La Land. The whole cast of La La Land came on the stage and producers were giving their speeches, and they were almost done, but they stopped them in the middle and said there was a mistake in announcing the name. Can You believe it even these kind of mistake can happen in such a big award ceremony?
Then Warren Beatty came to the mic and explained what happened. Warren said “I want to tell you what happened. I opened the envelope, and it said Emma Stone, ‘La La Land.’ That’s why I took such a long look at Faye and you. I wasn’t trying to be funny.”
Jordan Horowitz said to all the audience in the Dolby Theater, There’s a mistake. ‘Moonlight’ you guys won the est picture.” The producer said, it is not a joke, come here. The best picture award goes to Moonlight.
It was a big shock for all of them. Around the country, Moonlight has got more prizes of best film.
