Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal the original cast of the super hit movie Hera Pheri are reportedly reuniting for the third part after John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan bowed out of the project. The film went on floors with a lot of fan-fare and shot nearly 50% of it in Dubai and Mumbai. However, according to latest reports, Akshay Kumar is now back in the film. Scheduling conflicts brought the film to a halt three months into production after John Abraham left the movie to complete Rohit Dhawan’s upcoming film ‘Dishoom’ and Abhishek Bachchan walked out of the movie in December last year.

As reported by Mumbai Mirror, “Akshay and Suniel had always been keen to do the film. Everyone hopes the franchise will be back with a bang. It was to release in August this year but now has been pushed ahead to 2017”. Although producer Firoz Nadiadwala didn’t confirm the casting, he said that it was a work-in-progress and fans can expect an official announcement very soon. If you’re a fan of the movies, like we are, this is probably the best news you’ll hear all day!

Neeraj Vohra later approached the film’s producer, Firoz Nadiadwala, and as luck would have it, the director-producer duo managed to get the original cast back together. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala faced a financial crunch, which resulted in the shooting being stalled, and Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham walking out of the film. And now, the film has completed a circle as Akshay Kumar is back on board for the film which will go on floors soon with a new script. It stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. The female lead is yet to be finalised.

Hera Pheri 3 directed by Neeraj Vora will go on floors by the end of 2016 and will release in the last quarter of 2017.
