Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey are working together for their next ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha‘. Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey are collaborateing for the fourth time after ‘Special 26’, ‘Baby’ and ‘Rustom’. ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha‘ will reportedly be inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat campaign.

Neeraj, who is also one of the many producers of Akshay Kumar’s romantic thriller ‘Rustom’, discussed the film’s story idea with the star recently and Akshay loved the concept. According to reports, the film will be a satirical take on a serious issue. The superstar has verbally agreed to be a part of the film; however he is yet to officially sign the contract.

Source Said, “The discussions are in advanced stages. The budget is around Rs 89 crore all inclusive. Jolly LLB 2 should roll towards the last leg of the year and this film rolls soon after that. It’s written by Neeraj. We’re not clear yet whether he’ll direct it too. He’s keen but we’ll have to wait and watch for now.”

The story is written by Ram-Leela fame Garima-Siddhartha and the film is expected to go on floors in the first half of 2017. Before starting the film, Akshay will wrap up shooting for Hera Pheri 3, Jolly LLB 2 and Namaste England. In the meanwhile, Neeraj Pandey is busy with the post-production of MS: Dhoni Biopic starring Sushant Singh Rajput.
