The Test match against England is going on in Mumbai. After the third test, India gets a minor setback of Fourth Test. The top Batsman Ajinkya Rahane is out of the Fourth and Fifth test against England. Rahane will not be playing the fourth test because he had the fracture, as after the third test his knee was hurt. The final decision will be given by bowler Mohammed Shami before the fourth test will start.

The vice Captain of India, Rahane is replaced by Manish Pandey, the Karnataka Batsman. Rahane got a fracture on his right-hand 1st finger. Shardul Thakur, the fastest bowler of Mumbai joined the team as a backup for Mohammad Shami. The bowler’s participation in the Mumbai Test is under clouds due to an injury concern.

Virat Kohli, the captain of India said ““We are going to take a call in the evening in terms of how he (Shami) is feeling his knee. After the Mohali Test, he felt a bit of soreness in his knee. We would need to take a collective call on that as before he had done knee surgeries.” The UP-born bowler will be taken on Wednesday evening.

Kohli even said that the team does not want to force Shami to play because Mohammad Shami has gone under knee surgery after the last World Cup and was out of one and half year, this is the main reason they don’t want to push him if he is not comfortable. A ball stuck Rahane during the practice session and he sustained an avulsion fracture on his right index finger.

Manish Pandey is 27-year-old and has scored 188 runs in two matches. Now he is an important member of Team India as he can be the reason of coming into the team in the Test Squad.

In six matches Shardul Thakur has taken 13 wickets, in this season. As far his records are concerned, he has played 45 first-class matches and taken 155 wickets.

Now they will be a part of Indian team for the Fourth test against England.
