Yuvraj Singh is called as a star of the domestic season as a daredevil all-rounder makes a come back to both ODI and T20 squad after a gap of four years. The daredevil will be playing three T20Is and ODIs matches against England under the captainship of Virat Kohli. The series will start on 15 oh June 2017, and the preceding will take place after two warm-up fixtures.
In this season Yuvraj Singh played five matches and accumulated 672 runs out of which two hundred and two fifties. This left-hander scored these runs at a very very good average rate of 84.00 and scored a best of 260. Before he went on a break for his wedding, he had knocked the door and had been awarded for the brilliant runs scored.
The chairman of the panel was pleased with the way he played for Punjab, and former India stumper saw Yuvraj’s hunger to play in long innings which attracted him the most. Chief selector MSK Prasad says that he played extremely well in the domestic games and they were really happy with his game.
Daredevil Yuvraj Singh last played an ODI for India in 2013. His last game came on a very short notice was ICC World T20 in 2016. This left-handed batsman gives a lot of positivity to the middle over and his overs will be healthy for the new captain Virat Kohli.
To give Yuvraj Singh enough time before the ODI, he has ben selected in the warm-up squad by the selectors.
