We all know Mother will never stop being a mother. And nothing is better than MOM’s love. So here is a story of a 98-year-old mother and 80-year-old son in a care home.

A 98-year-old Mother from Liverpool, England has shifted into a care home just to look after her 80-year-old son. Tom Keating who is 80-year-old is a retired painter and a decorator. As he had health issues he moved into Moss video care home in Huyton, Liverpool in 2016.

After one year, Tom’s mother Ada also decided to join him in the care home to look after his health. The mother and the son now spend most of their time together. Originally, the mother and the son are from Wavertree. The duo like to spend time together and play games. Tom Keating didn’t get married and he always stayed with his Mom Ada.

The family members of them regularly go and visit them at the care home. All are happy to see the mother and the son together and is receiving good care.

Tom Keating told the Daily Mail: 

‘They’re very good here and I’m happy to see my mum more now she lives here. ‘Sometimes she’ll say “behave yourself”. She’s very good at looking after me.’

Ada’s husband Harry passed away. They had four children and Tom is the eldest one.
The care home manager, Philip Daniels said, “It’s very rare to see mothers and their children together in the same care home and we certainly want to make their time together as special as possible. They are inseparable.”
Ada was an auxiliary nurse at the former Mill Road Hospital.
