Four people including 2 policeman were killed and many were Injured in a bomb blast and gun-battle on Thursday in Bangladesh. Bombs exploded near an Eid prayer gathering in Kishoreganj district where at least 200,000 people had gathered, police said.
According to indiatoday reports, security forces have killed one the attackers who took shelter inside a building near the attack site. Operation is currently underway to neutralise the rest of them.
Mahbubur Rahman, a police officer in the district control room, told AFP, “They threw a bomb at a police checkpost. A police constable was killed in the explosion. One attacker was killed and another was arrested.”

The violence comes just days after the country suffered a deadly hostage crisis in which mainly foreigners including an Indian girl was killed on Friday, two policemen and six of the attackers. While five attackers were killed by the Bangladeshi forces, one was captured alive. Although, ISIS had claimed responsibility for the attack.
