Over hundred women stripped and posed naked with mirrors in Cleveland, answering a photographer’s call to blend art with politics and show Donald Trump as unfit for the White House. Photographer Spencer Tunick, who organised the protest, tweeted an image of the women holding mirrors as part of the art project titled “Everything She Says Means Everything”.
“He is a loser,” photographer Spencer Tunick told AFP after finishing the sunrise shoot in which 130 women participated. One hundred of these women will feature in the photograph which will be unveiled shortly before the general election on November 8 in which President Barack Obama’s successor will be elected.
Speaking to news agency AFP, Spencer Tunick said, ”I have two daughters and a wife,” he told AFP. “I can’t believe the language and rhetoric of hate against women and minorities coming from the Republican Party.” He also said that he needed to do to counter Trump’s ‘idiotic thinking’.
A participant at the art installation said that she wants to stand up Donald against Trump and other republicans “whose hateful speech towards women, immigrants, lGBT people, and all “others” is poisoning this nation.”
Spencer Tunick’s website said the mirrors reflected “the knowledge and wisdom of progressive women and the concept of ‘Mother Nature’… onto the convention center, cityscape and horizon of Cleveland.”
