One killed and two persons were injured in a bomb blast which occurred outside Sasaram Court in Rohtas district of Bihar on 13 July. according to the police, The bomb was kept on the motorbike which was parked outside the court premises.

Sachin Kumar, the owner of the motorcycle seriously injured in the blast, was admitted to a nearby district hospital, where he died during treatment. The injured, identified as Shivratan Bind and Shri Paswan, are currently being treated.

Bihar director-general of police PK Thakur told Hindustan Times, “One of them went off, as the man tried to move ahead. The modus operandi was similar to the previous blast, with the only difference being that the last time the bomb was kept in the side box of the bike.”

This is the second time in the last four months the Sararam court has been targeted. A bomb exploded within the Sasaram court premises earlier in March 11. In the last one year, three bomb blasts have taken place in Bihar.
